Stephen D. AxelrodStephen D. Axelrod, CFA
Managing Member

Stephen D. Axelrod has been in investment research, portfolio management, and financial communications for more than 30 years.

Educated as an engineer and physicist at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, MIT, and Northeastern University, Mr. Axelrod worked in industry as a research scientist before beginning a career on Wall Street with a succession of major financial firms, including Bear Stearns and PaineWebber.  A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), he was a founder and first president of the Computer Industry Analysts Association.

In 1991, Mr. Axelrod founded Axelrod Corporate Services, Inc., a financial communications and investor relations organization specializing in services for small, emerging growth companies.  He merged his firm with Wolfe Lombard Associates in late 1992 to establish Wolfe Axelrod Associates and formed Wolfe Axelrod Weinberger Associates LLC in 1999.

Donald C. WeinbergerDonald C. Weinberger
Managing Member

Donald C. Weinberger has been actively engaged in the field of investor relations and financial communications for over 25 years, using his numerous contacts and vast experience to develop new investors and closer street contacts for his clients.

Mr. Weinberger specializes in developing strong, long-term relationships between the client and the investor; he adopts a hands-on, advisory role in his dealings with all parties. Over the years his clients have spanned a broad spectrum of industries, including entertainment, finance, and bio-technology.

He attended Boston University and Fairleigh Dickinson University and was the recipient of both B.S. and M.B.A. degrees. He is listed in Who’s Who in Finance & Industry and is an associate member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

Robert SchatzRobert Schatz
Managing Director

Robert Schatz has been in investment sales and financial communications for more than 19 years. Previous to his appointment with Wolfe Axelrod Weinberger Associates, he held the position of Managing Director for Strategic Growth International, Inc. where he was instrumental in garnering attention and creating buying interests in stocks for a wide range of companies.

Schatz has worked with numerous companies around the world whose locations include Ireland, Hong Kong, Mexico, South America, Dominican Republic, Spain, United Kingdom, Pakistan and Germany, thus giving him a global perspective. Additionally, his forte in financial relations and sales has resulted in Schatz’s successes with many US based technology, oil services and special situation companies.

Lawrence KobrenLawrence Kobren
Director, Business Development

Lawrence Kobren has been in the securities industry for over fifteen years as a retail and institutional salesman.

During his career Mr. Kobren has had extensive experience with individual and institutional investors in “showcasing” micro and small cap companies. He has worked closely with analysts who have covered a variety of industries including, but not limited to, healthcare and technology.

He is a graduate of Brooklyn College with a B.A. in Economics.

Senior Account Executive

Adam Lowensteiner has built a specialty in micro and smallcap securities given his past experience. Prior to joining WAW, Mr. Lowensteiner worked as a sellside analyst with CJS Securities in White Plains, New York, as a generalist, but focused on small cap stocks. Prior to CJS, Mr. Lowensteiner worked several years with Individual Investor Group in New York City as a Senior Research Analyst, mostly researching fresh and new micro and small cap ideas for the company’s various publications and investment vehicles.

Mr. Lowensteiner graduated from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University with a Bachelors of Science in Finance.

Fay GaoFay Gao
Senior Advisor - China

Fay Gao’s broad skill set, her extensive Chinese connections, and fluency in Mandarin are key benefits to Chinese companies seeking a U.S. Investor Relations connection to create heightened awareness of their growth potential to the various U.S. investing audiences.

Fay’s educational background includes a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai University of Technology and an MBA degree in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

In addition to her Wolfe Axelrod Weinberger Associates work experience, Fay worked for several years with an accounting firm. She also initiated and assisted a Chinese Display Products manufacturing company establish a U.S. nationwide distribution network and continues to participate in the successful marketing of its products.

Her excellent communication skills combined with her strong marketing and finance background and actual experience and knowledge in manufacturing, operations, production and service make her a valuable asset in communicating the untapped investment opportunities in selected Chinese companies.
